1. Grilled Shrimp

Shrimp make great appetizers while you work on the main meal.


  • 2 lbs. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ c. olive oil
  • ¼ c. lemon juice
  • ¼ c. parsley, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Mix the oil, lemon juice, parsley and garlic in a bowl. Add the shrimp and mix well. Refrigerate for half an hour. Preheat the grill to high. Drain the shrimp and skewer them. Brush oil on the grill and cook the shrimp for two minutes on each side.

2. Honey Soy Pork Chops

Delicious pork chops require a touch of sweetness.


  • 4 pork chops
  • ½ c. honey
  • ¼ c. soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • Salt
