1. Ghost Pumpkin Martini
One of the best Halloween cocktail trends this year is definitely Ghost pumpkin martini. Maybe because it’s a pumpkin season, or maybe we want to try something new than Bloody Mary. Anyway, this cocktail will spruce up your Halloween party.
- 1 tablespoon canned pure pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tablespoons martini or vodka
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons half and half
- ice cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, optional
Combine sugar and a bit of pumpkin pie spice. Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass in water, and then in sugar or salt to coat.
In a martini shaker, combine martini or vodka, ice cubes, pumpkin puree, half and half, maple syrup, the remaining pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract. Shake well and strain into your martini glass. Create ghost using cream.
2. Bloody Mary
Queen Mary I of England, also known as ‘Bloody Mary,’ was famous for brutal burning and beheading her opponents. This is why Bloody Mary cocktail is included in the list of the creepiest Halloween cocktails ever. Isn’t it creepy?
- 1.75 L vodka
- 46 oz bottle tomato juice
- 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
- 1 ½ tablespoons celery salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons hot pepper
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 stalk celery, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Combine all your ingredients in a mixing glass. Stir and strain into ice-filled pint glass. Garnish with a celery stalk. If you want to spice up this Halloween cocktail, you can use jalapeno flavored vodka.
3. Halloween Grog
This Halloween cocktail sounds oh-so groggy! Halloween Grog contains apple juice, dark rum, ginger, clove, cinnamon and several other ingredients that make this cocktail a perfect drink for any Halloween party or any night that you just want to warm up.
- 3 ounces apple juice
- 2 ounces dark rum
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 slice of fresh ginger
Place all these ingredients in a small saucepan and heat slightly to dissolve the sugar. Strain into a heatproof mug and enjoy!
4. Dracula’s Kiss
I love this Halloween cocktail because it’s really easy and quick to make. It has a bloody look thanks to its grenadine and black cherry vodka content. But, try not to spill the cocktail on the carpet – it’s hard to clear.
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- 1 ounce black cherry vodka
- Maraschino cherry
Take grenadine and coat the bottom of a highball glass with it. Add in vodka and ice. Fill with cola and garnish with some cherries.
5. Vampire’s Kiss
If you don’t want a kiss from Dracula then you may want a kiss from vampire. I just can’t think of anything that screams the holiday of Halloween more than vampires! This cocktail is made with orange juice and vodka so it’s really a great drink for everyone, except kids. of course.
- 4 ounces orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1/4 ounce maraschino cherry juice
- Black licorice
Pour orange juice, vodka and maraschino cherry juice into a highball glass with ice. Then fill to top with Sprite and garnish your cocktail with a black licorice swizzle stick.
6. Witches’ Brew
Have you always wanted to taste witches’ brew? Witches’ Brew is exactly what you wish. The cocktail is literally delicious and light, making it a perfect drink for non-drinkers.
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 package lime gelatin
- 3 cups chilled pineapple juice
- 2 cups vodka
- 2 liter bottle ginger ale or Sprite
Put a lime gelatin into a large bowl and stir in the hot water until dissolved. Once it’s completely dissolved, add other ingredients. Allow it to cool to a room temperature and serve.
7. Black Cat
I have never heard of black vodka before, but now, when I know about it, I will definitely make this Halloween cocktail for my party! Yes, it’s a completely black drink, but it’s so delicious. Give it a try!
- 1/2 ounce raspberry liquor
- 2 ounces black vodka
- 1 cup ice
Combine your raspberry liquor and black vodka in a shaker with ice. Make sure to shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and enjoy.
8. Skull of Doom Shot
No Halloween party is complete without the Skull of Doom. If you are looking for a more terrifying party, you should certainly make Skull of Doom Shot.
- 3 oz vodka
- 2 oz vanilla liqueur
- 3 oz espresso
Put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and pour into skull of doom shot glasses for terrifying Halloween presentation. If you don’t have espresso, you can try coffee liqueur, coffee syrup, or brandy.
