5. Rhubarb-strawberry filling

Pick up 1 ½ pounds of rhubarb, trim the fruit and cut them into ½ -inch slices. Add in a pound of halved strawberries, ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup cornstarch and a pinch of cinnamon.

Mix the filling thoroughly before you put it in a pie crust.
