3. Drunken Summer Fruit Salad
A rum-soaked salad works well as a side or dessert. Prepare the salad at least one hour in advance to let the fruit soak in the alcohol. Fill up a big bowl with fruits of your choice – bananas do not work well in this recipe.
Sprinkle the fruits with a little brown sugar and pour on the rum. Remember to make a separate kid-friendly salad for the children in your family.
