6. Citrus Mint Iced Tea

While it’s easier to buy citrus mint iced tea, you can make it at home. Homemade tea is less sweet and much cheaper than the store-bought iced tea.

It’s full of fresh flavor and it takes just several minutes to make. I suggest you to garnish your glasses with mint leaves and orange slices. Delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 6 bags of green tea
  • 3 slices of oranges
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 3 slices of limes
  • 3 slices of lemons
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 6 cups of boiling water
  • 1 handful of ice cubes

Portion size: 4 to 6

Directions:

In large measuring cup or teapot, place tea bags, mint leaves and orange, lemon and lime slices; cover with boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Strain into large pitcher; add sugar and stir until dissolved. Serve over ice.
