  • 4 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for fruit)
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. butter (cold, cubed)
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • Ice cream (for serving)
  • Whipped cream (for serving)

3. Directions:

3.1 Preheat

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

3.2 Prep

In a large mixing bowl, combine the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss with a rubber spatula until all berries are coated.

Spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Transfer the berry mixture to the prepared dish.
