2. Ingredients for Sheet Pan Popcorn Shrimp

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 3 large egg whites (or 1/2 cup egg whites)
  • 1 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 30 uncooked shrimp (large, peeled and deveined)

3. Directions:

3.1 Preheat

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

3.2 Prep

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Mix together the flour and Old Bay seasoning in a small bowl and set aside.

Whisk the egg whites in a second small bowl until slightly frothy. Set aside.

Place the breadcrumbs in a third small bowl and set aside.

Dip a shrimp in the flour mixture and turn to coat. Transfer to the egg whites and coat with a thin layer. Transfer to the breadcrumbs and turn to coat. Arrange shrimp on the prepared sheet pan. Repeat with the remaining shrimp.

Bake the shrimp on middle rack of oven for 5 minutes.

Flip the shrimp and continue baking until they are pink and breadcrumbs are golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Check to see that shrimp are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
