9. Cucumber mint water

Put ¼ cup mint leaves and 2 tablespoons of sugar into a pot and pour in cup of boiling water. Steep the mint in the water for 15 minutes.

Purée 1 pound of cucumber in a blender and squeeze the liquid out. Mix it in with the mint water. Squeeze in some lemon juice and serve chilled with slices of cucumber.
