Simple Pasta Carbonara

– 1 pound spaghetti or any other long pasta – 6 slices bacon, chopped – 3 large eggs – 1 cup grated parmesan cheese – Salt and black pepper to taste

Ingredients:

Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted water. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water before draining.

Ingredients:

While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the chopped bacon. Cook until crispy, stirring occasionally, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the bowl with the egg mixture and toss until the pasta is coated with the sauce.
