– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste) – 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth – 2/3 cup heavy cream – 2 tablespoons cornstarch – 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Add potatoes, chicken, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper and broth to your 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
