This easy chili recipe cooks on the stovetop and is perfectly served alongside Homemade Cornbread, buttered toast or Buttermilk Biscuits.
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper sauce
1 15-ounce can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can of red kidney beans
Ingredients:
shredded Cheddar, for serving
tortilla chips, for serving
green onions, for serving
sour cream, for serving
Ingredients:
Place the ground beef in a large pot and throw in the garlic and onions. Cook over medium heat until browned.

Stir in chili oregano, powder, cumin, pepper, salt, sauce and tomatoes.

Stir together well, cover, and then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Stir in kidney beans. Heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat just enough so mixture bubbles gently.

Cook uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired thickness.

Now replace the lid, turn off the heat and leave your chilli to stand for 10 minutes before serving. This is really important as it allows the flavours to mingle.
