Mine is a family that loves dipping sauces. From ketchup to ranch, from gravy to marinara sauce, we manage to find a sauce of some sort for just about everything. A large portion of the sauces we use are store bought. I have yet to find a homemade ketchup that isn’t cloyingly sweet or a homemade mustard that isn’t so spicy I can barely stand it. I have learned, though, that some great sauces can be created with store bought ingredients.
This sauce is perfect for burgers and fries. Slather it on a bun for grilled chicken or ground beef, served up with an Asian slaw. Alternately, put it in a little ramekin and use it to dip French fries. Not in the mood for meat and potatoes? Try this sauce with raw vegetables or as a spread on a turkey sandwich.
I used coconut white balsamic vinegar in the aioli. Flavored balsamics add a lot of extra flavor while still delivering the vinegar kick, so there is s subtle hint of coconut behind the stronger peanut and garlic flavors.

- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp coconut white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp Thai Peanut marinade and dipping sauce
