We were given a can of Stephen’s Citrus and Spice Wassail mix for Christmas one year. All four of my boys adored the stuff. Every time I turned around, one of them was asking if they could have a cup of it. Needless to say, it didn’t last very long. Now, being the frugal person that I am, I will be making it from scratch.
I know that Christmas is a long way off yet (says the shopper in denial), but cool weather is knocking at the door. Why wait for the holidays to enjoy this delicious warm drink?

2. Ingredients for Homemade Wassail Mix
- 2 cups Tang
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp Country Time Lemonade mix (or 1 3oz pre-sweetend Lemonade Kool-aid mix)
3. Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to mix.
- To make one cup of Wassail, add 2-3 tsp of mix to 1 cup of hot water.
