1. Lemon and lime ice cubes
Lemon and lime ice cubes are perfect for plain water and iced tea. They are also great for summer cocktails. Just add fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice to the water in the ice cube tray and put it in the freezer. I usually add lime ice cubes to my water, lemonade, and iced tea for a tasty and refreshing twist.
2. Watermelon ice cubes
Watermelon is not only a sweet treat to enjoy in the summer weather, but it also makes a wonderful ingredient for ice cubes. Just freeze watermelon puree in your ice cube tray and add them to your cold water, juice, lemonade, or iced tea for a fruity flavor that is both tasty and refreshing.
3. Strawberry ice cubes
There are two ways to make strawberry ice cubes. The first way is to put strawberries and water in the ice cube tray and then put it in the freezer. The second way is to freeze the strawberry puree in the ice cube tray. You can add these delicious strawberry ice cubes to your water, juice, or any other summer drink.
4. Creamer ice cubes
Iced coffee is an amazingly tasty summer treat that you can make even tastier by adding creamer ice cubes. Simply pour creamer into the ice cube tray, add a bit of cinnamon and a dash of vanilla, and place in the freezer. Toss a few creamer ice cubes into your coffee and enjoy a cold, delicious drink.
5. Cherry ice cubes
Cherry ice cubes are perfect for refreshing summer cocktails. Plus, you can add them to your water. While you can freeze the cherry puree in your ice cube tray, I recommend you freeze fresh cherries. They will add flavor and color to any summer cocktail.
6. Basil ice cubes
It may take a bit more time to make basil ice cubes, but it’s worth it. Thinly slice a few basil leaves using a very sharp knife. Add them to the ice cube tray filled with water, and then freeze. Toss into iced tea or lemonade and enjoy a refreshing drink.
7. Wine ice cubes
Want to keep your wine cold longer this summer? Make some wine cubes and add them to your wine. Just pour your favorite wine into your ice cube tray and freeze. Quick, easy, and refreshing. What can be better?
8. Mint ice cubes
Add some shredded mint or whole mint leaves to your ice cube tray filled with water and then freeze. Toss a few mint ice cubes into iced tea, water, or lemonade for the minty taste that will cool you down in a jiff. Moreover, you will have fresh breath for a few hours afterward.
9. Yogurt ice cubes
Sure, you can’t add yogurt ice cubes to your water or tea, but you can add these ice cubes to your smoothies. Simply toss a few yogurt cubes into the blender with your favorite diced fruit and a little bit of honey and enjoy a delicious, refreshing treat. Personally, I like mine with strawberries and bananas.
