2. Ingredients for Apple Pie Baked Oatmeal

  • 2 medium baking apples
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 3/4 cups whole milk
  • large egg
  • 2 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbs. (30g) maple syrup, plus more for serving
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • Pinch of salt

3. Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Core the apples and dice into 1/2 inch cubes. Set aside.
  3. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish liberally with nonstick cooking spray.
