2. Ingredients for Quick and Easy Italian Meatballs

  • 2 lb. 85% lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 oz. grated Parmesan cheese (2/3 cup, for meatballs)
  • 1 3/4 tsp. salt
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • 24 oz. marinara sauce (1 large jar)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • fresh basil leaves

3. Directions:

3.1 Preheat

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

3.2 Prep

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

Grate or press the garlic cloves into a large mixing bowl. Add the beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Using clean hands, mix the ingredients until just combined.

Divide the meat mixture into 36 balls, about 1 inch in diameter and 1.5 oz. each, and place on the prepared baking sheets.
