- 14 oz. canned garbanzo beans
- 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt (scant)
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Drain the garbanzo beans into a fine-meshed sieve and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Turn garbanzo beans onto a clean dishcloth and pat dry with paper towels.
Transfer the garbanzo beans to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil, and sprinkle with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss with a rubber spatula until garbanzo beans are evenly coated in oil and seasonings.
Arrange the garbanzo beans in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Roast the garbanzo beans on middle rack of oven, shaking pan twice during cook time, until they are golden brown and crisp, 35-40 minutes.
Check to see that garbanzo beans are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
