- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. butter (melted)
- 1/3 cup (65g) light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup (60g) maple syrup (plus more for serving)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. maple extract
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Salt
- 3 oz. (3/4 cup) pecans or walnuts
3. Directions:
3.1 Preheat
Preheat oven to 375°F.
3.2 Prep
Spray a 9-inch square baking dish liberally with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Place the oats, milk, egg, melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, maple extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to thoroughly combine.
Finely chop the nuts. Add to the oat mixture and fold to distribute.
Pour the oatmeal into the prepared baking dish.
